Waterproof coatings involve the ability of materials to protect and seal the surface of application so no moisture permeates it, which it makes it corrosion-resistant. Such materials are applied in marine, industrial, commercial and architectural projects so that the structure is well-protected. Contractors will use polyurea, epoxy, and polyurethane on rooflines to make the structure airtight and avoid leaks for pipelines, roofs, floors, tanks, and even garages. Waterproof finishes can be applied to adhere strongly to metal, steel, concrete, and painted substrates.
